well i went to get a gun out of layaway today.... and ended up finding a 2075 RAMI .40 .. needless to say one gun came out while another went into layaway. i own a CZ75b already and really like it(first handgun purchased from the advice in this forum).. from what ive read some of these have feeding issues, especially when usually different mags.. but it sounds like newer models are not as bad...thats about the only faults i found..any advice/input on my new purchase?

I don't understand, does this mean the gun you put on layaway isn't the gun the gunshop gave you when you picked it up?

Would that be an issue?

The only issue I've heard of in the 2075 was a FTF issue with the earlier .40 S&W models I'm sure it's been resolved by now. I've also heard that the recoil on the .40 is a little snappy but I've not noticed it.

Great choice. I just bought a RAMI 9mm & I am 100% pleased with it. It will eat anything including Monarch green box which my wife's S&W M&P 9mm does not like at all.

I think he meant that he picked up the Rami, and put a different gun on layaway...

well i got a 336 out, i posted pics of her over in the 336 club thread. i put the rami in layaway to hopefully get out as soon as taxes get back..

I've had a Rami in 40 S&W for around a year and have put close to 500 rounds through it. In that time I have had maybe a dozen times when I could fire a complete magazine without a failure to feed. I'm getting real close to trading it for a Glock 27.

This first gen RAMI 40s had a lot of feeding issues. Did you look over at the RAMI section of czforum.com for the fixes used?
The newest ones are reported to have excellent feeding and ejecting, but I have never fired one.
