Paul - good luck with it - I must tho make a comment regarding color of text on your links on first page (and others). Dark blue on black? NO!!!! Horrible and hard to read.

If you really must use a black background (not my fave - and I do web work so have a lot to compare with) ......... make your link color a light one ... and then the active and visited also - readable colors.

I'll wager if you use as background (if you really do want dark) perhaps a dark blue, it could look easier on the eye. Just to show what I mean ... go look here - this is something I put up for a guy selling a bike - and have left it there. One of the few times I have used dark at all.

Not trying to slam the site - just trying to be constructive - if things are hard to read, navigate etc - hard fact is - folks just won't stick around!!

Yes,it makes me want to start drinking again, got a migrain looking at it today, the web guy is young enough to see that stuff,i will get him to change things up.
Any good color combos?what do you think would work good?.

Paul - good combo's? Well - see the link I posted in last post - there I used a dark blue and IIRC cyan text .. plus yellow or cream is quite readable. This was as I think I said, one of the rare times I have actually chosen a dark background. Another reason was to help show off the bike pics too.

If you want I'll PM you some other links as examples - let me know ........ of course usually it is the client that dictates color scheme overall but - I do attempt to make sure that links are readable!!
