I own some stamps, but I am not a lawyer...

NFA sets up registration of select weapons, owners, and addresses

The Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986 forbids BATFE from creating a national database of gun registrations, sales, or owners.

    Is there a conflict here?

Want to be the one to challenge the regs in court? :scrutiny:

The non-registry provision of the FOPA only applies to Title 1 firearms.
NFA firearms are Title 2 firearms and are exempt from that provision.

Need to get facts first before the torches and pitch forks.

If you don't under stand why you should look before you leap, nothing I or anyone else can post will make any difference. :banghead:
