Very nice, It makes me cry that it isn't me in that picture.

I didn't have my camera with me "just my cell" but a nice buck was taken off of the club today, makes me have hope for a nice one locally.

That's a nice rack. Congratulations. Hmmm, venison jerkey.

Congrats! That's a nice one! I had a good one coming to my bait pile before the season started. Then 2 days before opening day, I found out that my private honey hole had been sold to the nature conservancy. I found another spot just south on the same square, so maybe if he gets real stupid, I'll get a look at him other then just a trail cam photo. How much did your buck dress out at?

That is a very nice OK buck. Pine Creek Lake, OK is in the S/E part of the state. There is a town there named Antlers: Want to guess why?

What part? I went to HS at Geronimo, college at Lawton and taught at Elmer(Southside Schools, south of Altus) for a year.

"So tell us about the hunt, how far/close, and the load?"

All I really know is he used a Knight Disc rifle, one of the early ones, and a 120 grain equivalent of APP. Considering the area he was hunting, I'd say the shot was under 50 yards.

We live just west of Lawton. Were you living in Geronimo when the bank was held up and those four folks murdered? When were you in Cameron U? Was there myself from 85-88 and got my business degree fall of 88.

That sure is a nice buck.

Geronimo BlueJays, class of '68. Cameron Aggie, class of '72. That was back when it was still Cameron College.
The bank robbery took the life of a good friend from HS, he was a Junior when I graduated. The lady who was shot twice and survived is a round about cousin to my wife on her mother's side.
My brother-in-law was the Lawton PostMaster for several years, retired about 3 years ago.

BIG 11 point buck. Congrats to your friend. I shot my smokepole at a doe last week and missed at 100+ yards. I'm glad it was just doe because it's embarrassing enough to miss, much less a big buck...
