sasnofear- Definitely.

My light is a Streamlight Scorpion. Just as bright as my brother's Surefire G2, but a whole lot cheaper. I love it so much that i got my father one for christmas.

I like the maglights

I have a 4 cell C on the nightstande a 3 cell D in the living room and a 2 cell d in the kitchen. also a mini maglight on my belt and one in the car.

I have a couple of Scorpions. My wife likes them so much I'm always buying new batteries.

Try telling your wife a flashlight is not designed for looking for things in the dark.

So I just bought a rechargable Streamlight Stinger. Great light, you leave it in the charger all the time with no worries, and comes with separate car and home charger-mounts.

Black & Decker flashlight that uses the power cells for their hand tools. One battery in the light & another in the charger/holder.

Very bright for its size & fairly inexpensive.

I also have my ASP Sapphire pocketlite & another light that I keep in my pants pocket at all times.

(Never can have too many... :D )

Three actually...

1) Innova 5-LED w/ red LED's for padding around the house and not disturbing my wife.

2) Surefire M6 (500 lumen) - Used in tandem with USP on the nightstand for those things that go bump in the night.

3) Surefire M500 Weaponlight (500 lumen) - Attached to the Colt CAR-15 leaning against the nightstand. In case the previous items are insufficient.

I sleep soooooo well....

Oops, forgot about that one. Ditto on the UTL, which is a GREAT little weaponlight. In fact, one has to suppress the temptation to use it as a flashlight, since everywhere you point it, you are also pointing the muzzle of the gun. That's why I have the M6...:D

Mine are a 12Z for 500 lumen retina scorcher, a 9P for lower power uses, and a small LED white light on a length of paracord for traversing the darkness in search of glasses of water and such.

Want to add a 9 volt light unit to my bedside preban Benelli Super 90 M-1 Tactical to light up baddies just to be sure before they get a chest full of #1 Magnum buckshot. Also one of the new Millennium units for the AR-15 carbine my wife uses by her side.
