Noobs and the things they say....

I've been shooting since I was 7 years old (35 now)

What a coinidenck. I'm 35 too. Do you know that you were born, according to the chinese astrology, in the year of the pig? And pigs are considered especially lucky. AND, this year is the year of the fire pig! So hammer home to everyone you know how lucky they are to have you around! (I do, every chance I get!)

Funny thing (now that I'm off topic), but according to western astrology, I'm a leo too. A LEO and a pig. Hmm.... maybe some cosmic forces are telling me something??

Around here that is common slang, and if you ask for rounds/ammo, they tend to look at you like you are some "Rambo-wannabe."

"Plasma rifle, twelve watt range."
"Hey pal. Just what you see."

(I prefer the "Terminator-wannabe" myself)


Okay, and to be slightly more on topic as to NOOBness, I'm nicknamed The Sage for a reason: I tell everyone how much I DON'T know. All the bloody time, it seems.

dang noobs, thinking guns are fun and dont know nothin'. they just shoot at junk lawnmowers trying to find out how many rounds it takes to stop one. sure glad i was never one of those guys
i actually kind of enjoy teaching people stuff about firearms in general. when someone doesnt know something you dont start laughing at them, you explain it to them and show them the right way. you got to learn everything sometime, hopefully its not at the expensive of life or limb
