NOS Unicorn Colt.

I posted about this a while ago, and it just came in.
Seems this was sitting in the attic of a small lgs somewhere until they shut down and cleared out inventory, then it made its way to me.
New and still in the box,
Colt DS-II, as it rolled off the factory floor.
Very rare 4" barrel.
The DS-II was only made for about a year, almost all were 2", a few were 3" and a very small amount were in 4". The 4" version only comes onto the market every few years, so when this popped up I gritted my teeth and paid up.

Wow! I’m an S&W guy, but that Colt is a beauty.

I do have a Colt DS. The last time I shot it, a couple of weeks ago, I was thinking “Man, this thing would be sweet with a longer barrel.”

Question: Is that Colt stainless or nickel plated? It sure looks like stainless steel to me.

The DS-II's were stainless steel
