Bruce: Just checked your site---better "git on a stick" you're outta them holsters!!

The belt prices look a little high at a glance, until you read the specs. Sound like excellent VALUE!! Should last a lifetime of hard use!!

Dog chewed up my Milt Sparks belt. Great piece of leather; know anybody that can use a 14" belt??

Stay safe.

Thank you, jfruser.

Bob, it's two layers of 7/8 ounce Hermann Oak skirting (the tried & true premium "veg-tan"). I do some skiving/splitting, but the overall thickness is 1/4".

Thank you, everybody.

Claude, the buckle is heavy, solid brass. The tongue, or tang, looks a little stumpy, but please don't let that fool you. These buckles are HEAVY, and they'll take more stress, and more abuse than any other buckle out there that I'm aware of. That's one of the reasons I'm partial to them. Plus, they look good.

The other thing I like about this buckle set is that there's no need for a slot to be cut into the belt itself. Standard buckles require a slot cut for installation. If you don't cut the slot, then you have less lateral twist potential. You maintain 100% of the belt width throughout, versus cutting out 10% for a slot.

Lovely. Great buckle design, too. Often tried single-piece buckles to avoid the twist you mention, but this looks like the perfect solution.

Bruce:

What an awesome website! I'll be ordering one of those belts!! The price is not bad considering it includes the shipping. I enjoy leather-working too, so I'll probably be getting the DVD.

Now, how do I get one of those "Smuf" Glocks? :D

"Now, how do I get one of those "Smuf" Glocks?"

Doc2005...the only way I know of to get one of the "Smurf Glocks" is to catch a Smurf and take it off him. It can be tricky...and a little dangerous. Those Smurf's are tricky! ;)

Hey:

Take a gander to Bruce's website & click the "Gunbelts.." link.

Then, click one of the gunbelt images. Bruce posts a LARGE image that lets you examine the holster in fine detail.
