I’m curious if there’s a way to find out if any of the candidates up for NRA BOD election are people who are willing to work against the LaPierre dynasty and help bring the organization back from the brink?
Thank you. This is helpful.I have no real insight but you might want to contact people at https://helpsavethenra.com/
I’m a life member so that ship has sailed for me.I think it would be better if folks opposed to the “Lpierre dynasty” just sent a letter to the board saying you will not pay dues until the dynasty is banished. That is what I did several years ago. I stand by it.

Almost all of the candidates on this slate were recommended by the Nomination Committee. LaPierre controls the Nomination Committee.I’m curious if there’s a way to find out if any of the candidates up for NRA BOD election are people who are willing to work against the LaPierre dynasty and help bring the organization back from the brink?
While I understand people’s frustration, I believe there is a method to vote for more better directors. Here’s an article about it -

Essentially you vote just for the write in candidates, using bullet voting, rather than spreading your votes.
The more people who do this, the more likely we are to get a couple of sensible folks onto the board. It has to start somewhere.

How does only voting for the write-in candidates and the one recommended one concentrate your vote? I would be worried they just themselves add votes for 22 of the official ones. While I understand people’s frustration, I believe there is a method to vote for more better directors. What could possibly go wrong with a mail-in ballot?
I think that was Bottom Gun's point.I believe they are all mail in…that is the process (I think).
