This may or may not be the right place for this. Last Christmas my mom bought me a NRA membership. Boy was I excited! I got that neat little card, not too long after that a magazine once a month. I was stoked! Then came the "Junk" mail. I've been bombarded with the stuff ever since it seems like it never ends. It's rarely informitave usually just asking for donations. I realize that the NRA has and will continue to do wonderful things toward the defence of the second ammendment to our constitution. Aside from that(and I am not belittleing their efforts to protect our rights) what does one get from being a NRA member. They've been telling me since january(mind you I got it for Christmas) that my membership is about to expire and I need to buy a new one. So my question to you is why spend the $35?(I'm aware that if you buy more years on your membership it's discounted) I look forward to hear what you have to say.

First of all, this isn't on topic for the legal section.

Second, I hate the junk mail as well. That's why I called them and had them take me off the mailing list. Go to the website and find the number, or email them and tell them to take you off. It's not a big deal.

Off topic for Legal and the OP has been answered.

Oh, and you can always opt-out for the NRA mailings if you find them annoying. That's what I did.
