Shot another box of ammo today and didnt have any problems. Here is a pic of some spent cases. Again the firing pin consistently hit off center. Is this still something not to be concerned about? Thx for the help
I don't believe I've ever shot a firearm that didn't hit the primer at least slightly off center. I'd consider it normal; it shouldn't cause any problems. However, you should worry if the firing pin is either piercing the primer or too shallow. It's only too shallow if it's failing to ignite the cartridge.
I honestly can't recall ever seeing a rifle that did make perfectly centered strikes. For that matter, I'm not sure I've ever seen a pistol that hit perfectly centered either. Nothing is wrong with your rifle, and certainly nothing worth spamming two forums with multiple threads about. You're good to go.
