When I renewed, I put my new billing adress down and now they keep sending me notices to renew at the new adress 
The whole reason they have that adress now is because I already renewed. :banghead:

No, you get calls like I did yesterday offering to extend my membership for 5 years for $100. When I said I was a life member and asked if she were offering to extend my life for 5 years, she got flustered and hung up.
Too bad. If that really was the offer I might have taken two.

Because I get tons of letters, postcards, and emails from the NRA. Most go straight to trash.

I'm a life member as well and apparently they think I just don't deserve the magazine any more, and I get renewal offers every now and then. But I still get the voting ballots when it's time to elect board members etc. Most everything is bumming money though--they may get more donations from me if they would quit pestering me about it.

They call me asking for money constantly!!! Send me renewal notices even when I already renewed! Really is annoying. I gave extra to them in the past and I think that is why they keep hounding me now. I understand they want the money but to much is to much.

You can go to the NRA's contact us page and send them a letter or email requesting that you not be contacted for solicitation purposes. That will usually stop 80-90% of the calls and mail.
Renewals are another matter. They, like magazine subscriptions, always try to get early renewals. If they don't, most people are likely to let subscriptions/memberships expire and then try to reinstate which is a hassle for both sides when some benefits are based on membership continuity.
Oh, and when you renew, you need to send the no contact request again as it does not renew automatically.

The recent assault weapons ban didn't become a reality largely due to the efforts of the NRA. I'm a life member. If every gun owner was, be he [or she!] a cowboy action shooter, collector, hunter, competition shooter, or weekend plinker was, we wouldn't have these stupid bans being pushed on us every couple of years.

They nag about money. Sometimes they seem to have no charm. They don't win every battle. But the NRA stands between us and the anti-gun left, and they win much, much, more often than they lose.
