Recently found Shiner's at the market; am now a convert!:D

GOOD stuff!!! "Nuff said"!:D

Keeping it firearm related of course...

Don't drink Bock and use a firearm...
Bock rhymes with Glock...
Bock Cans make good plinking targets... Bottles don't...

There, I did my good deed for the day.

Thank you Baba Louie.

BTW, Shiner Bock Ale was the official drink of TFL. Rich always kept the frige stocked with 'em.

I bought some on the way back from the firing range the other day. Fantastic stuff, this is going to be my beer of choice from now on.

Last time I was TDY to Raytheon in Greenville, TX...

I filled my luggage and carry-on bags with Shiner Bock.

TFL did teach me something!

Keep a sharp eye on the place where you buy Shiner. They have a pretty small brewery, so they only make one kind at a time and alternate between 4 or 5 different brews on a regular basis. Every once in a while they will run a batch of something special between the regular runs.

Good stuff! ;)

Be careful!
When I first joined TFL, I only had a couple of guns. Then I had to buy a cabinet to put them in. Soon I needed another.
TFL crowd raved about Shiner so I got some. Now I need another fridge.

Take a look in your local safeway and circle K's,i've seen it in both stores in my area(36th st and indian school) and yes it's worth the effort to find:p

Never tried it but it seems it is fast becoming the official alcoholic beverage around. Shiner Bock Ale you say. Hmmmm!

I just hope that Dr. Pepper is the official soft drink here.:D

Shiner Bock = Good

Shiner Blond = Bad

here in OK it is everywhere but you have to get in good with the store owner to keep a few cold for you.

quote "...Shiner Bock Ale..." endquote

Shiner is admittedly the equivalent of mother's milk, however it is just 'Shiner Bock'. A bock is by definition a lager, not an ale.

I guess i'm just lucky.. Shiner Bock is available in almost every store, quick-stop, bar and restauraunt here in Houston.. I guess that makes sense, since we're only about 2 hours from the brewery!!

It's funny, I regularly make trips from Houston to San Antonio.. Shiner is about halfway between them, about 20mi S of Interstate 10... Maybe I'll make a pilgrimage after I get my TFL Alumnus stuff..

Sippin' a cool one now...
