So I was over on the Brady site tonight. Dont laugh I go there to read up on the anti arguments and to see what states are rated the best(They use the word worst though for some reason). I came across this article http://www2.stopthenra.com/blog/?p=13 . As well as a very concerning picture. According to the Anti's we haven't ever passed a helpful gun law!

Thats great news! I bet we can get them to support repealing all the gun laws since they admit they haven't done anything. Maybe they can sit down with the NRA and work something out that might work. Im going to call them tomorrow and see what I can do to help overturn all these useless laws on the book.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. They sure are right none of the gun laws have helped.

Well, they are finally right about something. The 20,000 or so gun laws that we have in no way prevent criminals from getting guns. These laws are working about as well as our drug and immigration laws do.

I am a college student outraged at the loss of innocent life at Virginia Tech. If just one professor or student among the first victims had been allowed to carry a concealed weapon - as is allowed by Virginia State law - the outcome could have been very different.

Police are responsible individuals, so are most other people. Police carry sidearms to stop violent assaults. They can protect themselves and sometimes others. But, they can't be everywhere.

It is time for you to take steps to end gun-free zones that guarantee victims will be defenceless. Even though I am a Canadian, it is very clear that the 20,000 gun laws on the books are an unlawful infringement of the right to keep and bear arms. More importantly, These laws do absolutely nothing to prevent violence against the innocent.
