OK To Load 38 Special Bullets In My 9's?

I've got a few LRN 125 gr 38's that are 0.357 diameter. I got several 0.356 readings doing a barrel slug on my M&P 9mm. OK to load?

Probably. Load up a couple and do the plunk test with them. If they'll chamber, they'll most likely work. I have done it, and a couple of 9MM barrels I have worked fine with them. It was just an experiment.

.001" over, even if it is a tight thousands, over bore size is where you want to be with lead anyways.

Should work fine.

I have used 125gr. HP that I load my 357 and 38 with for years in a 9mm with no problems. Always be careful no matter what someone else does.

I actually use a mold meant for the 38 Special in my CZ, sized to 358. It drops at 362. Quite accurate.
