I need to know where I can get my old case repaired. One of the sides fell off and I lost it. If you can let me know if the blade is worth fixing. Thanks guys

P.S.
If anyone can tell me how old and the model?

Looks like 1980 production...hard to count the dot's in the pic. It is called a swell center pen or half whittler. In the model number the A6 stands for smooth appaloosa bone, 2 means 2 blades, 08 is the pattern number.

To be honest if it isn't a family heirloom it really isn't worth restoring...you can find very nice used 08's from the 80's for about 20 bucks...restoring the knife pictured would cost $100 - $150+.

If you want to get it restored I would recommend Muskrat Man... http://www.muskratmancustomknives.com/

Muscratman is the guy to use, but I'd follow the advice given and look for a replacement off the auction sites.

You could get a carried same era piece off ebay and send both to him to harvest the scale for yours.
