I read a blog linked here a few months ago, to myspace.com and a mall ninja story...it was one of the funniest things I'd ever read and I lost it.

Anyone have a link?

Gecko45 was the guy talking about how he keeps an MP5 under the seat of his "electric transportation cart" that he rides around "the largest mall in the US"

hahaha and how could I forget...also uses duct tape to secure two ceramic plates on his back to protect him from .308 rounds

hahahaha :D:D:D:D

Oh yeah...there was also this guy (image attached) who talks about being a "domestic mercenary" while being a security guard...he also says he lives in a "giant overheated crotch"

hahaha

Now I respect people who work in security, but I find what this guy says to be pretty funny too :D

If anyone lives in socal and knows where the Irvine Spectrum is, they have mall ninja's. No gun but wearing body armor and a fire extinguisher sized can of pepper spray.

I just copied that page and saved it to my hard drive so it will never be lost :)

Can't get the image out of my head of a 6'4 250 lb guy on a specially- modified electric golf cart tooling down to the other end of the mall in 8 minutes to respond to a supposed high alert situation....wow, just wow....

I was suspicious at first, but after looking at that forum and reading some of gecko's posts, I think it's pretty clear he doesn't take himself seriously. Kind of an Andy Kauffman style prank?

My understanding is that Gecko45 was the "mall ninja", and most likely putting up a (inspired) front for the amusement of others. :)

Gunkid, however, was probably the worst forum troll in Internet history. Known and hated by the Mods of gun forums everywhere, he was scourge who popped up everywhere on a constant basis. Apparently, he was also a felon, and got caught with several guns/ammo.

Actually, reading that Mall Ninja site reminded me so much of Napoleon Dynamite that, in the back of my mind, I am convinced he is a parody.

Now that Gecko45 has been analyzed and mimicked to death, it's easy to recognize him as a gifted comedian. Remember, when he broke on to the scene, he was the first person EVER to pioneer duct-taping a trauma plate to yourself. Or to take multiple .308's to the back. It looks silly now. But things were different back before the invention of "mall ninjas."
