Thanks in advance for any advice given.
I picked up a Coast to Coast Model 267H from my grand-dads storage unit. It seems to be in good shape except for two things
-The slide release only works when the gun is upside down (weird)
-The bolt(screw) holding on the buttshock is stripped and not all the way in. So it's hanging the stock on halfway
I found that I can get parts marked for the Savage 77 on http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Manufac...guns-40503/77ShotgunSeries-41385/77-34256.htm
I was wondering if anyone knew about a manual for this gun, or perhaps just a diagram(video?) of the trigger assembly. My searches have yielded nothing so far.
Furthermore, would it make since to just buy a new stock and part#78? or to try and remove the stock with the stripped bolt?
Thanks again for your time.
