I am researching older/defunct brands of shotgun reloaders
Anybody currently use Texan, Pacific, or any other brands.
I am curious as to how they function & availability of parts.

Thank you,
JWW

I have an old Texan 12 ga. loader that I have set for my standard trap loads. It works as good as my MEC.
Some of the parts seem to be interchangeable with the MEC.

I have both 12 and 20 gage Bair-Cat reloaders.

Bought them both about 1970 something at a Gibsons discount store.

They still work as good as the day they were made.
I just don't reload much shotgun anymore, so they pretty much gather dust now.

Pacific tools were made by Bair Machine Company until there was a falling-out in 1969. This resulted in Bair offering the same Pacific tools under their own name. I think they went out of business, or lost the good fight to Pacific and were adsorbed by Hornady.

Hornady's current shotgun presses still "Bair" a striking resemblance in a few places!
