opinions on bull pup conversions for 10/22

I am curious about trying something a little different and what better way to do that than to get a bull pup conversion for my 10/22? seems like a great modification for a lot of plinking fun...

any experience with these?
any input on them?
any suggestions as to which ones to get from which retailer?
I have heard negative remarks about the trigger but, nothing about the accuracy, installation, or "fun factor."


other opinions...?

is it worth the 110 to 150 I would have to spend?

Only you can decide if its worth it or not. This thread shows the one I undone, and has info on one that seems much better made.

PM me, I'd sell mine for $50 or so if I can find it (should be up in the attic).

Not a big fan of the muzzlelyte, but the bullpup that wally linked to looks to be top notch. After seeing it I am considering building one with my 10/22...I really like the feel of a good solid bullpup.

just seems like it would be a relatively cheap and pretty cool modification and possibly an easy one that can be reversed with little trouble.

Was cruising around on youtube the other day, and saw video on how to make a p90 replica using an airsoft gun and a 10/22. Looks fun if not practical.. might want to check it out. Here is the link to the first video, he has a number of parts to it explaining making the linkage and fitting all together etc. Youll have to dig through all the stuff in the guys profile and keep an eye on the related videos to get what you want, not really organized I guess. Doesnt look super easy, but if you are looking for a project its an option.
