Earlier today I ordered 500 rounds of Hornady's TAP Practice ammo. I looked around a bit for reviews and such, but didn't stir up much. I figured it was about the best I was going to find for the price ($149 for 500), so I went ahead and ordered it.

Does anybody around here use it? If so, what do you think of it?

I know it's not the best. I know it's steel cased and lacquer coated. I also know that Hornady makes all but the case. I'm not really looking for the basic info on the round, just your thoughts and experience with it.

It's the 55gr and it will be for use in my M&P15.

Nothing special...but not bad either, made by Barnaul in collaboration with Hornady IIRC.

Where did you order it from?

I can't find any information on Hornady's website, and can't seem to find any for sale online.
