Opinions on the Stevens 320

Came across this the other day & kind of liked the looks of it...especially for the price...new for about $250...it is a 12 ga. pump with very sturdy sights, a ventilated hand guard & a full stock with a pistol grip similar to the AR platform. Anybody here have one?

It looks pretty similar to the old Stevens 520 to me, except that it does not appear to be a takedown gun.

Isn't that a Chinese copy of the Winchester 1300?

It probably isn't a bad gun, but I don't know if it's a better choice than any of the other Chinese clone guns.

There were some early reports of various problems (action bars breaking etc) - don't know if that's been taken care of or not. Reviews so far, I'd call mixed.

Thanks gents...as is typical for me, I did a little research on the gun after I bought it You are both correct...it is indeed a Chinese copy of the Winchester 1300, and the early guns had problems with the action bars breaking. Supposedly fixed on newer guns. We shall see.

Haven't fired it yet. Same shop has some police trade in 870's & I can buy one of those for under $200...which is what I should have done in the first place...duh. Going to go up there and buy one in a few minutes. Will get out this weekend and shoot the snot out of both of them. The Steven's will have to prove itself.......870 has already BTDT. Will be fun for sure as I have tons of 12 ga. reloads I need to shoot up.
