I've never done business with PSA and I'm looking at maybe ordering some ammo from them in the near future. I've checked their T&Cs and read their ammo restrictions (no shipping to certain parts of CA, no shipping to Chicago, etc.) and I should be good here in AZ. Are there any other quirks with them? I've ordered on-line before and had one ammo dealer who wanted you and only you to sign for a shipment. If anyone other than you signed he wouldn't sell to you again. I thought that a bit extreme.

Even before the pandemic, PSA's shipping times weren't the quickest but they are a good company to deal with. I've bought guns, ammo, parts, and kits from them many times without any issues other than occasionally slow shipping.

If you need ammo in a hurry, sgammo.com ships very quickly, has good prices, and is a good company to do business with.

Probably my all time favorite

As others have said, PSA is good to go, but they’re not necessarily quick to process orders.

If you need it “now”, look elsewhere. If not, I’ve had no reason to advise against buying from them.

I have only tried them one time and it went perfect. During the last great panic they had some CCI .22 at a good price and you could buy a case when most were only allowing a few boxes. So I gave it a shot. Did take a while to ship, week or so IIRC, they had warned it would. Ammo got here fine. Only one who seemed to mind was the UPS guy with a sour look on his face as he was humping it up to the house. I have thought a few times of leaving hand truck at the end of the drive for FedEx and UPS when I have a case of ammo coming :D

I ordered couple hundred rounds 9mm from them last winter , quick shipping ,wrapped and packaged very well and freebie PSA sticker

I've only made one order from them, a PSAK47 and a couple magazines.
They weren't quick--my timing was partially to blame--but they weren't intentionally delaying, they didn't send false notifications or dates, and everything arrived packaged well, everything seems to be as it should (I delayed too long before the restrictions and have tested everything but actually firing the thing), and the best pictures and reviews still aren't as nice as what I can see.
So, yeah, if you want quality at a good price they're good to go. If you want it now, there are other places.

The old shop poster holds up these days: "Good, fast, cheap: pick two."

Be patient. I don't have insider knowledge, but ordering experience. I think that ammo, mags, parts, or anything that is ready to be packed and shipped is delivered in a reasonable time - like seven calendar days from order to delivery. However, I suspect that they pre sell inventory like assembled uppers, complete lowers, special rollmarked lowers, and complete firearms. Some of those have taken up to three weeks from order to delivery, IME. You may want to add a couple days to my estimates since it's cross country from SC to AZ.

Special roll marked lowers can take 8-12 weeks. My Angry Joe lower took 11 weeks.

I have shipped ammo to an alternate address a few times to make sure someone was there to receive it. Usually I just ship it to the alternate address in my name. UPS and Fedex typically don't care who signs as long as it is an adult.

It "may" be the state the buyer is in thing? Don't know for sure as I have never had to sign for ammo. Every place I buy on line from offers to send the package signature required but, they all charge extra to ship that way. Since I work nights, so am home all day, I never cared. So I will pay the small fee for "delivery insurance" in case the driver leaves the package at the wrong address. That I have had happen several times now with FedEx for some reason. Twice the package was at a house a few away from me and I could see them on camera's dropping it off so I went and retrieved it. Another time it was on a totally different street and I got it back before they had time to track it down after I called them. So not sure exactly what the "insurance" does if they totally lose the damn thing. Hope I don't have to find out :D

I bought several times when they had a sale for 1000 box with free shipping. No problems here

PSA is A-OK!

Ive done a lot of business with them. Ammo, mags, lower parts...complete uppers..never a problem with any if it..

Like others have said, they are not the fastest shippers. Some orders Ive gotten in a few days, others, mostly ammo, has taken 2 weeks or so..
