I would recommend any rifle that is a savage model 12 for your needs... my 6.5 Creedmoor lrp model 12 will shoot a pretty consistent 3.5-4" group at 600 yds with my abilities behind the rifle... it will definitely keep moa if I'm having a bad day!

No I haven't, the most I have shot is 10 in one string... I try not to get the barrel too hot... I mainly just target shoot for my own satisfaction, I've never shot in competition. I mainly practice for hunting season...

A 4" 10-shot group at 600 yards is about a third bigger than benchrest folks get at 600. Well fit good barrels don't move bullet impact as they heat up; you probably have one.

Put your name and load up in bright lights. Very well done!!!

Well, my 6.5 Creedmoor load is this;

1. Reformed Norma .308 brass that is neck turned and trimmed to length
2. .264 hornady amax 123gr kissing the rifling
3. Accurate 4350 powder 42gr (meatures very well )
4. MV of 2920fps
5. Winchester WLR primers

I have found, with Norma brass at least, that reforming to another caliber works best with once fired brass... it doesn't seem to leave that dimple/ring at the shoulder, that I get with virgin brass...

It would probably be better with bench rest primers but I have about 4000 of these still!
