Then there's the law of economics: Buy low and sell high. So the next guy buys "low" at the inflated price and he sells for even more to you when you come back with money in hand its not enough. :banghead:

Are there any court rulings to the effect that a law was overturned because "the poor" could not afford something, while "the rich" could?

If the Democrats have their way and turn this into a socialist economy there will be, but we won't have any guns by then so it will be a moot point
It's simple supply and demand and the government wiped their backside with the constitution and eliminated the supply causing demand (and thus price) to skyrocket since it's a free market.

I don't think anybody on here, whether they can personally afford a machine gun or not, isn't offended by the stupid NFA laws.

Now if you are on a tighter budget, but want to get into the NFA game. Buy a suppresor. They are fun. Cheaper to feed. And cheaper to buy. You can still manufacture new cans, so supply and demand isn't all out of whack like on machine guns. You can get into a .22 can starting in the $200+$200 tax range. You can get into .223 cans starting in the $300+$200 range. Pistol cans are starting in the $500+$200 range.

And once you go quiet, it is hard to go back.
