I had a chance to buy one last weds.. Ser# was under 900. Shop owner had one for personal use. It was Ser#7XX and headed back to Kel-tec with extraction probs.. When P32's came out I bought Ser# under 600. Nothing but trouble with it. I think I' ll wait this time and let you folks work the kinks out of the .380.

P3AT

I have one of the very first P3AT's to leave the factrory for consumer purchase.

I have had it about 2 months and have put somewhere around 500 rds of magtec ball and win. sxt hp's ( The sxt's are my carry ammo) It funtions flawlesly and I can't keep it out of my pocket :what:

I love the added thump of the 380acp in this gun...it just feals better...

I take my two carry pieces to the range (PM9 P3AT) and shoot side by side and its amazing but the little P3AT shoots as well as the PM9 at 1/2 its size and weight.

The only problem I have had with the P3AT is I have been leaving my PM9 at home..:uhoh:

I too intend to wait, and let the rest of you folks find out what's wrong with the first batch. ;)

If I'm going to be a company's beta tester they should at least give me the pistol for free.

I itend to wait... until they offer them for sale in CA! :(

Not sure why they can't just give three guns to the CA DOJ so that they can in turn sell thousands. I know the law is stupid, but it is making consumers pay the price. I guess, in aggregate, the consumers of CA brought this upon themselves. Sigh.

Looking forward to more range reports.

There is no safety so I don't think they will pass (right?).

Also the wonderful state of Calif (Come And Live In Florida!! :) ) sees fit to allow it's citizens to sue gun manufacturers for criminals misusing their products.... While it is true they would probably sell many there, the chance of loosing money and bad press for law suits is to great to risk it.

I saw one at the dealer the other day. It was the same size as the .32 sitting next to it. He was asking $250 for it. I have the feeling that the .380 is going to kill .32 sells. He said that people are coming in trying to trade in there .32, but he cant give them very much on trade because no one is buying them.
