Hello all,

This is a question for all you lucky people who own or have used a FN P90, ( I of course haven't as I live in the UK, and I'm sure you're aware we can't own anything as exciting as that!)

This is something I was musing over.... as I've read the cases are softly ejected....does this mean the action will jam if the weapon is fired sideways or even upside down? (as in rotate it clockwise or anticlowise as viewed from the back when it faces target..)

I know its not a normal firing position but I just was curious as to whether it would jam in such a situation...

I wouldn't call the ejection "softly" whatever that is supposed to mean. Some people have reported marking on the plastic where the rounds hit after ejecting. I could potentially see a problem firing it upside down since it does eject from the bottom and shells could possibly fall back into the action, not so much sideways.

I've fired my PS90 upside down just to see. No problem going through a full 50 round magazine. :)

I haven't shot it yet but I decided I would do a little test hand cylce some rounds. I flipped it upside down and as I looked down the hole to see what would happen quickly hand cycled a round.

The result? The round flew up very quickly and hit me in the face. It flew out of there fast enough that I highly doubt firing it upside down would cause any problems. I was actually very supprised at how wuickly it came out relative to the force I used.
