When this rifle came out RUGER POS ARs weren't selling for $2k.

I'll have to say, it's certainly hard to keep one's credibility when you make statements like this. I'm willing to bet you don't own one of these alleged POS Rugers. Furthermore, I have yet to hear of anyone having problems with the rifles you claim are a POS, so undoubtedly your statement is based on some sort of bias against Ruger. It's fine, we're all biased, but if you're going to make blanket statements based on nothing but that, then I can't possibly trust anything else you say.

Also, the going price for the Ruger, since release, has been around $1600, a perfectly reasonable price for an AR with rails, Troy sights, and the other extras it comes with, like a lifetime warranty.

But hey, don't let me interfere with your talking up of a rifle that has mysteriously doubled in price for no apparent reason... That's not market adjustment, that's just crazy...

Just ignore the Ruger haters there are a few in this forum. They point out Ruger "faults" and just ignore the fact that those faults are just SOP for the firearm industry.

Ruger boys...line 'em up...

I've been seriously collecting Rugers for four decades. I grew up with the younger Ruger boys and knew the old man. I've bought AC556s for half the price of this rewarmed, unispired, late to market POS. Nothing wrong with a Ruger, except accuracy...in fact their lack of accuracy in their rifles is legendary. That may change with their AR, but only becuase they dont even supply their own barrels anymore. I've spent more on Rugers improving them than the original cost of the firearm....and did so gladly. I'm entitled to my opinion, especially having spent time with their new rifle. As to my needing you to trust anything I say, don't let it ruin your day that I could GAS.

Back on planet earth, if one is of a mind you want a fully integrated, single builder hyper accurate platform, the cost is going to slightly more than a AR15 whatever/wannabe. I can understand why there is a mystery for some, but for those that have followed the Windrunners, they have been and will most likely continue to be from $3-12k for the foreseeable future. As I said from the onset, you have to have a good reason to spend good money like that on a rifle, some do and for them, they will put a scope on it that will cost about as much as an AR15 and night vision worth 3X the cost of a Nemesis. Different needs, different priorities and a whole different mindset on what constitutes accuracy. Thats life, crazy huh?!?
