I have rifle sights on my rem 870 police, and I want something brighter than the aluminum finish on my stock remington sights. What should I use to paint the front sight?

I have not done this since my crossman airgun that I modified with my mom's red nail polish when I was 12......

Testor's Bright Yellow enamel, available in many hobby shops, does the trick. Needs renewal every couple years.

On my slug shooting 870, I use a dot of Bright White Testor's. Brighter for my eyes in the woods and stands out against a deer's shoulder.

HTH....

also, for any of you fishermen (or women) who might paint your own jigs, that paint has been quite durable on my slug gun front sight, and colors come in some very bright/fluorescent ones
