I would say that is one of PSA's best deals since the banic started. Frankly their daily specials haven't been special at all. I have essentially the same barrel/upper and it's very accurate. Mine was said to have been made by FN.

I paid $269 early last year and didn't get the 5 mags.

I am happy with my PSA stuff. They are not the fastest to ship, but certainly reasonable.

Call and ask Monday AM. Can't hurt to ask.

Yep, no super deals yet, but getting better all the time.

Those folks that wait 2-3 months for uppers to ship would disagree. Not all take that long, but there are many well documented cases. In the hundreds. PSA prices are great if you're patient.

Generally if it shows as that price in the shopping cart, it's safe to order. Since credit card processing is automated, the worst that can happen is they could say "Whoops" and cancel it; you won't get charged more. But in my experience, that never happens. It's more trouble than it's worth to cancel an order that's already gone through, not to mention the cost of making a customer unhappy. I've never seen a retailer refuse to honor their listed price.

The wait time on PSA is nothing compared to waiting for your CMP Garand (3 full months, sight unseen and you have no clue what your getting).:D

I waited 7 months for a rra predator pursuit upper about a year ago. When it finally showed up I had almost forgotten I had ordered it. Couple of weeks for a mag is nothing.

Everything has been slow lately in case you haven't noticed. Before the craziness I got my upper very quickly. Do you have any info pertinent to the OPs question?

Try telling BCM that. If they show it in stock, your order ships the same day or at the latest, the day after. Even during the recent panic.

Different business structure. BCM has them premade, in stock. PSA builds them as they are ordered (which also helps them keep costs so low, they dont have a bunch of extra unsold rifles laying around). I'll take the wait and save some $$$. Internet sales have made everyone too impatient. Remember the days of mail order?? Send an order form with payment, wait 1 week for it to get there, 1 week to process, a few days handling time and another week for UPS. :neener:

Is that why it takes PSA a month or more to ship ammo for so many guys?

BTW: I believe there to be more differences between a BCM rifle and a PSA rifle than simply cost.

Fwiw, psa shipped out a receiver and stock kit within a day for me. Got it 4 days after placing order.

You guys have been lucky. I know multiple people that waited over a month on "in stock" ammo.

Two of my last three orders with PSA, I cancelled. I placed the order for "in stock" stuff, waited a week and it was still processing, ordered elsewhere, received the other order, checked PSA...still processing. Cancelled it. (would have taken the double up if they actually shipped it)

This seems to be extremely common from everything I observe

Now, my most recent order with them went much better. I ordered the 10 pack of D&H black teflon coated mags with magpul followers they had for $90 over Easter weekend. I ordered the mags on Easter Sunday and I had them at my doorstep that Friday.

Highly unlikely my friend. There business model is the same which comes down to selling as many rifles you can In order to maximize profit.

Here is what really happeneds. I'll use AR complete upper assemblys as an example. When PSA gets all of there parts in to complete the upper, they immediately say the upper is in stock but in reality it's still in pieces. People start placing orders and uppers start getting assembled.

Here's what the same scenario at BCM looks like. They get the orders in which contain every part they need to complete a fully assembled upper. Now, rather than telling the whole world they have fully assembled uppers in stock like PSA, they don't change a thing. They keep the out of stock sign on the Web page.

After BCM gets done assembling as many uppers they can through the parts they just received, then change the web page to say in stock..

Doing it the BCM way allows BCM to ship their in stock products the same day they were ordered. It also gives then enough time to thoroughly test ever upper they put together

lastly, I don't understand your reasonings as to why BCM cost more than PSA. Palmetto makes a fine rifle and I'll have no problem using them for my next build which I'm trying to keep the cost down. To say they are on the same level as BCM is borderline laughable.

Buy from bcm, top quality stuff and you get it in 72 hours or less. I hate ordering from PSA, but if your patient their lower parts kit, buffer tube, buffer and spring, charging handle, and other small necessary parts are a real bargain. Although I don't like their lower parts kit as much as say DPMS (the selector and trigger are kind of junky on the PSA kit IMO) but it's half the price of a DPMS kit.

I've ordered from PSA many times, mostly for mags, ammo, and AR15 accesories. Never had any issues with them.

Average shipping time is about 2weeks, even during the panic. If they have a deal that seems to be going on past the posted deadline, its because its probably still available and in stock so they will keep selling it until that product is sold out.

lol yea thanks moderator guy.
the member talking about the $269 deal from palmeto was that for an assembled upper? If so call the police cause you stole that.

wow good thing i order the upper when i did cause it went out of stock today.
