Pay it Forward in Reloading

Centurian22

If that is 38 Spl I don't need but could use it. Of someone else says they need it give out to them but if not I'll take it.
I have a bunch of 38 special brass if you need some.....Let me know.

Been a couple pages so I'll re-post my 'in search of' request: .32S&W Long Brass and plated .312 bullets. With the .308 brass spoken for (and having just started reloading myself in Dec.) all I have left to offer for now is 100 small pistol primers locally to central Maine. On future range trips I will pick up any decent amounts of different brass I come across and offer it up. Rather see it go to good use than serve as range gravel.

Thanks. If you don't use it I could. I do have about 200 which is more then I'll use in a range trip. It would be nice to have more so if you don't plan to use it. I'd give it a home.

I just want to post that you guys made my night. Well what made my night was an acquaintance GIVING me a RCBS J2 press with 38 sp and 357 dies. <faint> He said he has more stuff in his garage to dig through; this is all old in old (probably collectible) boxes. Once I figure out what I can use, I will list what I can't for a PIF, because that was the spirit in which it was given to me. :)

Checked lgs today and they didn't have the sierra's that you are using but will keep checking for you. If you want to use hornady would have a better chance

I have hundreds of once fired 223 308 9mm and 45 ACP brass and have no reloading equipment yet. I'll trade it to someone who would like to load it and send me back some of the finished product. The only ammo I have right now is the ammo in my mags :(

And it wouldn't be wise to shoot someone else's reloads. You don't know how knowledgeable the person is, nor do you know if it is safe or will function in your particular gun.

^^ + a jillion. If it's not built for and tested chambered in your gun, and you didn't oversee it being done, don't shoot it.

The exception is ammo from licensed reloading companies such as Georgia Arms.

Because actual companies like that have NEVER had a problem with any of their ammo...

Danrutenberg, I have 1-2 boxes of commercial .308 (federal power-shok 150gr soft point blue box) that I might be willing to trade at the right ratio for .308 brass depending on the headstamp, quality and quantity. If interested PM me with details about your brass.

I'm in search of 9mm and .45 acp... I come home from Afghanistan in May and foolishly thought I'd wait until I got back to start "stocking up." The thing is... I'm taking my girlfriend's dad to the range the weekend I come home to ask his blessing to ask her to marry me. :D

So, it's kind of important to have the ammo! lol. If anybody knows where I can find some .45 or 9mm online to buy, please do send me a message.

jehicks87..... make sure the guns are reloaded BEFORE you ask him! LOL congratulations ....

I've got some 9mm brass (200-250) I could spare for some .38 spl boolits if thats possible. I eventually plan on reloading the 9s but focusing on the .357s for now. PM me if interested.

I've got a set of RCBS 270 & 7mm Mag dies that were my dads, and I don't shoot those. Up for grabs if anyone needs them.

could really use some 40 s & w bullets, I have some 40 S&W brass I could let go for some bullets.

I'v never had any issues with GA, and my point was that they're licensed, not that they're infallible.

Ok, ran across this thread and it inspired me to dive into the brass closet. (My wife insisted on the safety line...:what:) After the appropriate amount of muffled grunts and groans, she pulled me back. Luckily I managed to grab the following on the way out, which are available to whoever can make use of them. I either don't load, or no longer load these cartridges (except the 308, but I have enough of that without having to de-crimp)

1. .44 Mag. - around 200-250 *Gone*
2. 30-30 - around 30 *Gone*
3. .308 (crimped) - around 20 *Gone*
4. 300 WSM - 6
5. 22-250 - 10
6. 243 Win - 3
7. 7mm Rem Mag - 18 *Gone*

I know some of the quantities are small, but don't know anyone that turns down free brass. :scrutiny:

And finally, like the original post stated, please only ask if you really need it.
