Weather lookin half way OK for Sunday .... so more than likely now I will try and get along, despite distance. Doubt I'll be there until well thru morning tho.
But - and here's the prob' ...... HOW am I gonna stand a snowflake's chance in hell of spotting any of you guys??
So - first off .. who might be there Sunday?? Second ... any way we can manage to hook up and I/D each other.?? I'll be wearing one of those blue NRA caps ... ''The 2nd Ammendment - America's Homeland Security'' ....... and a longish thick open shirt, (over a T-shirt) - sorta brownish checked - and jeans of course!
I am 6'0" .. 205, pretty white beard (no - not pretty ) ... VERY white. Oh and glasses. Pretty much std eccentric ole phart really! What about a sticky label on shirt .. with handle written on it? Any good? maybe you other guys could do same .. whatdya suggest?
I asked before i think but ... I presume no carry into show? How do they do that .... check guns on way in etc? Let me know someone if ya will.

Yeah, they have a check/clear area when you enter. No loaded sidearms in the show. Re-load on your way out. Standard stuff.
Also, expect some TRAFFIC nearby. The King of Prussia Mall (aka the Snootiest Mall in America, which is 3o seconds away) will be hopping on Saturday and Sunday AM.
Beware of sheeple in SMV's (Soccer Mom Vehicles).

All week it was looking like Saturday for me, but last minute upheavals in the schedule now make it Sunday morning. I'll be large, using a fore-arm type crutch...or maybe two of them considering the time I'll be on my feets, and wearing the Molon Labe cap. Oh....and carrying trade goods.
Looking forward to seeing Timmy.....err, Sodapop again. I guess you could have hung onto that bunnybag another few weeks.....

like my last post. I'll try to catch up with you guys in the first Enclosed area. Anybody know if it is upstairs or down?? There is a computer show there too this weekend. Both will be packed I guess. Any intel from those that went today??

Hey Soda!!! yep .. pretty good show .. and glad we could meet. I feel certain there were other THR people there .. but how to seek em out? Another matter entirely.
Quite amazed I did not come back with another gun ... wife will hardly believe that! Did tho get some stuff I was after ... coupla holsters, ammo (of course) ... some hard cast bullets for Mak and CZ52 .. a few mags .... oh and ''Santa'' still had some of those large orange stickers on a roll ..... glad I saw yours and went to look. Numerous odds and ends too, including more XTP's, some .454 brass and more primers! Oh my - have I got some loading to do!
Good session .. even tho 400 miles and 6 hrs of driving! Fine weather was a real bonus.

In all, it was a good show…but man, is it crowded in that place. Easily the most crowded show in memory.
There were some pretty decent deals there, but I’m looking forward to the next Harrisburg show…where you can breathe.
(I’m no fire marshal, but I’d be interested to see the max. capacity of that room vs. how many of us were in there.)

Yeah, those aisles were pretty tight. Now I know what a sardine feels like.
I got no takers for the gun I brought to sell. Only dealers wanting to trade, but I needed cash to buy reloading components so no happiness there.
I saw some nice Model 10's going for under $250 and a 3" Model 24 with some mottled bluing on the cylinder, but tight. And what's the deal on those FEG hi-powers I kept coming across? Real cheap. Are they a bad copy?

Pappy ..... I didn't notice the FEG's .. but mind you - despite ''casting an eye'' over most guns .. I tried not to linger too long .... in case of temptation!! Did find a lot of what I thought was VERY over-priced stuff tho! The guy not too far from where you come in ... with a lot of old H&R type stuff ... seemed to be asking a hell of a lot for what we mostly might call wall-hangers ... and many of those were pretty tatty!
Most AR stuff was, predictably -- ''well up there'' too!
Thing with FEG's is .. they are a pretty inexpensive gun to start with . (good val IMO) .... but what were the prices?? I'd expect to see price tags around $250 perhaps . damned if I remember how much mine was now without checking paperwork.

The show decided to add an extra isle this year which shrunk the breathing room to the uncomfortable level. I didn't bother picking up some bullets because it would have required me to fight my way to the other side of the convention center.
There was a lot there, but nothing quite like I was looking for.

Chris, yeah the FEG's I saw were $229 to $249....sorely tempted. I also noticed some tables with rediculous high and dirt low on the same table. Or maybe I just didn't quite know what I was looking at....rare varieties of what I thought of as common stuff accounting for the highs?.
I was trying to sell a Ruger MkII Govt. Target pistol with a dot scope mounted. Been trying to sell it local for a month and after taking it to the show with no results I finally did what I should have done right off the bat. I put it in our classifieds here late yesterday afternoon. Its sold already to a gentleman in VA.
