I posted this question about a year ago. I'm back at my Allen & Thurber Pepperbox again. It seems the hook end of the sear is worn off and it will not hold the main spring at all. I know there is a keeper to do this. A friend wanted to see if he could help and apparently the small square keeper got lost. Will try to use a nut. I'm still trying to find a parts web site but no luck so far. A member some time ago offered to make the new sear but it seems he is not listed any more. Help would be appreciated.
