That is UGLY

I have to agree with DeltaElite. That is one Silly looking revolver.:uhoh:
I have been a fan of short barreled revolvers for years but that aborition redefines "short barreled":scrutiny:

Looks like another S&W that I just can't wait not to get.

Best Regards,
Billy

Scandium sideplate so they can say it's scandium---

Pull the barrel off completely and shoot from the cylinders -- like an old SAA--=

That's the single ulgiest revolver I've ever seen. My god, how hard would it have been to take a 625 in .45 ACP, roundbutt the frame, stick some Spegel's on it and chop the barrel to a more reasonable 2''?

That thing is an abortion.

Bergeron,

You know it's not good to hold back. I suggest you go ahead and let us know how you really feel and stop beating around the bush. You will feel better when you get it off your chest.:neener:

Best Regards,
Billy

Reminds me of the

Bulldog from the Tom and Jerry cartoons. You know, all shoulders, no head?

It needs enough barrel for an extractor rod, for Pete's sake. As big as that cylinder is, another inch or two of barrel ain't gonna screw up the deal.

This thing would've been a lot better with a 3" barrel. I mean, it's an N-frame, after all, and .45ACP isnt' exactly a high speed round to begin with.

Whaddaya think the muzzle velocity from that thing is going to be? 700fps? :scrutiny:

Actually, I really like it. (You don't need much of an ejector rod to pop stubby .45 ACP cases and a moonclip out...)

But then again, I own a 296 and a Mateba, so my wheelgun aesthetics are questionable... ;)

I think it would have looked better if they hadn't tapered the barrel. Same length, but made it kind of a fuller lug design with the barrel the same diameter out to the end. Also just do away with the front sight altogether or mill in just a groove all the way to the end. As is, I think it looks like it was ground off in a giant pencil sharpener.

Well, yesterday I sold a three inch 625 in 45 acp to make room in the safe for one of these creatures and already have a holster. Committed sight unseen, but we get the same thing when having kids. And no one is going to admit that they have an ugly one. :p

I had a chance to shoot one of these and I really like it! I think it will make an ideal back up or deep concealment gun. As soon as they're available I will have one! BTW, we shot PowRball ammo and it was fine.....no problem with excessive recoil. I think the looks will grow on you kind of like the bodyguard and centennial series. A bobbed hammer is the only thing I can think of that I'd likie different on this gun.

625 3"

I forgot, what I am carrying presently is a 625 3"(1990) run and Performance Center tuned. So far I think it is the ideal carry revolver.

Make one in 9mm with a shortened cylinder rather than the 38/357 cylinder. Great last ditch pocket gun.
