I have seen so many time on the boards (not just this one). When heavy people ask what is the best way for them to carry, they are immediately reduced to carrying a j-frame OWB or in a pocket. Not true my fellow fat friends. I am 6'1 345 lbs and frequently carry OWB, IWB, and autos all the time. Just take your time selecting a good holster and a good gun that suits your needs. I put a few pics below to illustrate. I am allowed to carry openly here in TN though it is easy enough to throw a cover shirt over or untuck my t-shirt with little to no printing.
First is my daily rig a S&W 4516 in a Don Hume IWB clip on holster.
Second is the same gun in a Bianchi OWB
Third is a S&W 39-2 ASP Custom in a unknown holster that I got with the gun. It works well so I kept it.
