Add 4 cap fulls of NuFinish car wax. Let it run a couple minutes before adding brass. Makes em shine purdy. No dust.
lolI'm sure they do. Check out the online reviews for the product on whatever website you order from; mostly lizard-less guys like us raving about clean our brass is.
Don
It will be the same with reloaders posting reviews for NuFinish as to how it helps polish the brass, leave residual polymer on the surface to maintain the shine/help with resizing effort and not get brass stuck in the dies.M1GarandDeerHunter said:LOL, USSR is right there are guys posting how good it is. They probably could care less as long as we keep buying it I guess.
You guys get the Nufinish at Walmart or Auto Zone?
The purpose for used dryer sheets is to trap black fouling that "dirty up" the media, not necessarily for dust, which extends the life of the media like adding mineral spirits when media gets dirty.gunnels said:And a cut up dryer sheet. I actually use a new sheet instead of a used sheet. I know that is contrary to what you read on the forums. I don't really care about dust.
If you are already using car polish, adding new dryer sheet is redundant and adding extra cost. Besides, I am not sure if I want to add any lubricant to the media that may make the inside of the brass case slicker to decrease neck tension (not that may be the case here as I have not tested that theory). IME, use of NuFinish liquid polish has not resulted in decreased neck tension as tested on my reloads as I experience zero to minimal (less than .002" - .003") neck tension with most jacketed/plated/lead bullets I have used.I add a pre-missed mixture of car polish and mineral sprits ... New sheets seem to leave a very faint film on the brass and seems to have a lubricating effect.
