I laughed when it said that NYC has the best gun laws in the country. Must be a Career criminal that wrote the article.

yes, and in the process they are breaking both state and federal laws.......but again, you expect them to stop when they hear of a new gun law...?

Even after all those votes, it's still showing 66 to 31. I'm guessing it's rigged. Go figure.

Media using poll results to tell you what they want the results to be - not what they are. Never heard of that before. ;)
 
They've already made the poll expire. They probably did it when they realized that they were starting to get a lot of pro gun responses.
 
My biggest problem with this type of story is that the anti gun people use these to further their agenda.

While tragic, thugs are always going to have guns. No matter how strict the laws become criminals are going to be.....criminals.

How many people die from drunk divers? Do these same people think that automobiles should be banned? Let place the blame on the person that killed the young woman, not the instrument they used.

It gets me very upset when parents blame their shortcomings on society.

What is the NRA supposed to say? We're sorry that your city is tied with L.A. for having the most thugs that do not care about breaking your precious little gun laws?




I guess the bottom line is why let a little thing like the facts get in the way of an emotional article. I also think that some people really do not care about having freedom, they are perfectly content being a serf. Very unfortunate.

So basically, the author is proving that strict gun laws only disarm law-abiding citizens, and criminals are going to use guns whether they're legal or not.

Honestly, how do people not understand that? What further proof do they need?
