It's been awhile since I had the Hi-Point 4595 .45 ACP carbine out for some shooting. A lot of people think that Hi-Points are junk because they aren't prohibitively expensive. But I've owned carbines that cost more than twice as much, that I don't like shooting as much as the Hi-Point 4595. In this video I'm just having some fun plinking around with the Hi-Point Carbine.

The 14-round Mag Pro magazine arrived today. I’ll try to do a video on it soon.

Great vid! I don't see how you can beat the fun-to-dollar ratio you get with a Hi Point, especially the carbines.
That model is a little too tactical for me but I would seriously like to find one of the basic carbines in 9mm. They remind me of my favorite .22, the Nylon 66. A lot of people were turned off by them as well because they didn't like the looks or construction.
Good luck with that ProMag, I hope it works for you. I've never had a one that didn't turn a perfectly reliable gun into a jammomatic.

Be careful with that Promag! It turned my Hi-Point 9mm carbine into a fantastic.....single shot :banghead:

I know Promags are good, but that is what happened with mine.

I sent it in to Hi-Point, explained that I broke it. They fixed it, no problem, and threw in one of their mags, free, :what: and apologized for my inconvenience!!

Mike,

Great vid as usual. Folks have to admit that a guy that post himself missing that much must be trustworthy! Just teasing about that. I was really impressed with the itty bitty bottles and shaving cream......makes me want to go check out the dollar store for shaving crèam.

I do find the .45s to have too much stuff on them and with ATI made a stock for them like the one they made for the original 9 silly meters. I would love to have a 9 silly meter so I could take it apart to better understand why ATI or some one could not make a stock/grip to take some sort of common double to single feed mag like say a Barfetta M9 mag or CZ clone mag.

Loved the vid! Excellent as always, I love all of your videos on YouTube!

I want a Hi-Point carbine in .45 quite badly. A 9mm version would be nice to, but you can't argue with those big .45 slugs!
