I just wanted to share a link to Pocket Concealment Systems web site.

Michael is good people and builds one of the best pocket holsters I have ever used! Not sure exactly what you need... give him a call or email and ask, he will help you out! Well thought out products, with a super high level of build! Top that off with ridiculously good prices and you can't loose.

Here is the link for PCS ======> LINK

I used to carry a J frame strong side, but switched to a full size Glock IWB for my main gun. I just ordered a few left handed pocket holsters so I can carry a back up "mouse" gun... :)

Any of you guys/gals pocket carry?? Lets hear your thoughts/experiences.

Tom

Interesting.
However, they don't have what I want, which is a double pocket mag carrier!!
Everybody and their dog makes single pocket mag carriers!!!!

I've embraced pocket carry 24/7.
I usually carry a Kahr MK9 Elite 98, PPK/S, PF9, P3AT, or a G26.

The "french curve" by Michael has a nice curve to keep the holster in place..However, I don't personally use them. Prefer no holster; just in the pocket only...I've heard all the reasons not to: pistol movement, lint, dirt, etc., maybe I just wear different pants.:)

Denfoote, give Michael a call/email. I bet he will make you what you want!!

Mad Magyar, what ever works for you. I personally like the trigger guard covered for safety reasons!

Um, denfoote, did you not see the picture I posted? JS makes a double mag pocket carrier that will fit your MK9 mags just fine since they are EXACTLY the same as the PM9 mags. Please revisit the 2nd post in this thread.

The PCS No See-um Straight...

...is the holster that finally made pocket carry a reality for me.

I'm glad to see that PCS finally has a website of its own - the markup at Lightning Arms Sports is higher than had imagined.

Just a question for those who pocket carry a lot. How many have a "gun ring"? You know, the gun version of the "Skoal ring".

My buddy has carried (by carried, I mean every waking moment, every day) a TPG in leather pocket holster for years, and he has a TPH ring in the front right pocket of most of his pants. its obvious if you look at it and I always kid him about it. He swears no one else says anything, but if your a gun person, you know what it is. Then again, if they know him, they probably are afraid to. :D

I've seen one other person that had one, but thats about it. I just assumed it was because others either didnt carry all the time, or had a good trouser budget. :)

I personally dont carry that way. I always felt more self conscious about my Baby Browning or Seecamp in my pocket, than I do about my P229 in a IWB holster under a tee shirt.

Never had a problem with the "skoal" ring. My pocket holster is leather and has a flap the covers the entire outward facing side of the pistol. The leather is soft, too, so no sharp edges to create a lasting outline.

As for the skoal ring/gunring. I was showing a customer a vehicle when I was selling them and I noticed he had a keltec ring. I actually got to talking him about it and it helped to break the ice. I found several customer in a short time that carried them now it is sorta a game to see if I can see one printing in a pocket. Hmm just thought of that hope no one notices I am paying that much attention to the pocket area. Any yes rings to build over time in alot of pant especially jeans.

Before I sold my female cousin my Rossi 817 .357 snubby it rode unholstered in my jean pockets, got it cheap in a trade along with an Arcus 94C in trade for a Ruger Blackhawk I had got at estate sale for 200 off a widow who was happier to sell it to me than the thug wannabe who was badgering her over it.

It was a good little gun that shot great every time and could be milked out to twenty yards without too much work and I probably put a thousand rounds through it over the year and a half I had it, nearly all .357. It was an even contender with my Dad's S&W 640 and while I love my Taurus 617, it was still a good gun. I plan on getting a Rossi, Braztech production, snubby .357 next year because I plan on getting a Taurus 651CIA or 651 stainless because of their smaller size and ease of pocket carrying.

My 617, seven shot, .357 snubby is a bit larger than my Rossi but it still pocket carries, it has a bobbed hammer and I don't use a holster for it. I just tuck my wallet in front of it to prevent a print and it can be quick drawed no problem with my wallet in my pocket with it. I'm in Florida where it is only CCW and I'm a Jeans and plain T-Shirt loving guy so conceal carrying larger guns like my Ruger P90 is a bit more difficult(genearlly impossible) without wearing a button down and I don't care for IWB carry guns as primary defenders. I used to carry my Rossi and 617, one in each pocket, go out with the fiance for the day, wallet in my 617 pocket, car keys and cell phone in my Rossi pocket and no trouble.

Had a bunch of friends over one night playing cards, had a gun in each pocket, a budy of mine pulled his Walter P99 out of his concealed shoulder holster to show another buddy his latest purchase, then another friend pulled out his XD .40 out of his concealed shoulder holster not to be outdone, someone said "holy s##t how many guns do you all have" so of course I pulled out both my two minding the rules of safety popping the cylinders out before putting both my guns on the table and everyone's jaws dropped.

If I ever buy a handgun that I didn't get cheap, that doesn't have a 100% warranty, that isn't a revolver, then I'll get a pocket holster for like a officer 1911 or Glock subcompact, till then my revolvers carry free but safe.

The handgun is the key, not the holster. Some guns "print" in pocket carry, no matter what.

One of the reasons I chose the S&W 638 is that it prints more like a PDA in a proper pocket holster. The shroud really breaks up the lines that scream "snub!"

ahh the 638, my discover card.

good pocket gun and as previously mentioned, the shrouded hammer helps to break up the signature when it is in a pocket holster.

the 638 is the only pistol that i pocket carry at this time, due to it's size and anti-snag features.
