POLL: The best electronic ear muffs for under $50?

looking for some decent functioning electronic hearing protection that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, if possible.

also if someone could explain: is the NRR for electronic muffs for when the electronics are turned off? is there a different NRR depending on whether they're turned off or on?

i would like the highest NRR rating available for electronic muffs under $50.

I've been using a pair of electronic ear muffs from Harbor Freight. $15.00.

Works well for pistol 22LR-45. & Rifle up to 223.

Have tried 5 or 6 different brands, Howard Leight surpasses the others by far and away. One very good thing the H/L muffs do is not go dead at a loud sound, they lower it to a safe level. Makes it much easier to carry on a conversation while others are shooting, as there are no blank spots.
