Take a peek at the FAL FILES FORUM . There are a couple of good threads currently going on in the ammunition section regarding where to get the best deal on Port Surplus and other ammo.
I usually get mine at the gunshows for roughly $40 a battlepack. At the last show I found some CAVIM ammo at the same price that I'm trying out now. Works pretty good in my FAL and it is boxer primed so I can reload the stuff.

I've always gotten my Port surplus ammo from Sportsman's Guide. Have never had a problem with them (SG).

I've gotta put in another vote for AIM Surplus. Their prices are good and their service is better.
I bought 1000 rounds of Port for $139 delivered but its gone up to $149 and is on backorder now.
It's worth the wait.
