I would like to see some more commercial rifles. I know you must have some SaxonPig.

Yikes dude. Read the thread title.

It says C&R rifles, not military rifles that happen to be C&R. Both apply.

Most of my C&R rifles are of military origin, but I do have this Winchester M94 in 38-55 made in 1923 or 1926 I don't remember.

Some French legionnaire probably handled these at some point, or maybe some rebel in Beirut, or maybe even in the jungles of Vietnam. Or maybe even a French resistance fighter.....

madcratebuilder,

I green with envy over that Savage. What cal. is it?
It's a .250-3000. My neighbor lady sold it to me about five years after her husband passed away. She insisted I give her $50 for it, I explained it had considerable more value and after some good natured auguring she accepted $100. Then she brought a bag of revolvers over, but that's another story.

Come on Madcratebuilder.....

Madcratebuilder,

You can't tease us like that...... Any of the handguns C & R? Love to hear the rest of the story!:D

There was a old Hi-Standard .22 pistol that someone had cut the barrel on. It went to a friend that needed a parts gun. In the bottom of the sack, under the S&W M36, Llama X-A and Ruger Bearcat was this nice little Walther Model 9.

Opoche, were did you get that left handed No5?

Well, that there cost me a fortune, real rare. The guy who sold it to me also had Churchill's Broomhandle Mauser and Patton's SAA. ;)

I didn't even notice that until you brought it up, musta fudged the pic while cropping and whatnot. Have to start a new thread "a series of rare left handed rifles".
