What is the going price on one of these guns? I have heard about some of the larger distributors gettings some "lower priced" guns in the past few months. Can anyone shed some light on that?

Seems like $650 to $700 is about the norm.

Looking for input on this nice little 9mms.

The basic MK9 seems to start right at $650 and the price goes up with better sights.
Ive been price watching them for about 3 month now since i bought mine last month for $659 at my LGS.
Buds is right at $649 last i recall.
Ive not seen much if any fluctuation on price at all on these guns for the main reason is they usually are special orders for most smaller stores.
Buds will keep them in stock, But most any other store wont as its not a big seller compared to the PM line and ANY polymer Kahr makes as they usually are cheaper in their base form over the steel framed guns.

Ill add i love mine and put wood grips on it and an all steel guide rod and springs from Wollf with a better fitting mag base plate also.
But the gun shoots so well and the trigger so smooth its been worth every penny.
With tax and all the extras i have over $800 in mine, And id do it again if i had too.

How has reliability been with these? I am looking for an alternative to the S&W 642 which is my current BUG and pocket carry.

I got one just before Christmas and love it. I have put about 200 rounds through it with no problems at all. Smooth trigger, easy to control on follow up shots, recoil is easy to handle and you can not beat the compact nature of this pistol for concealment needs. I did add Pierce finger rest base plates to my mags without giving up any concealment benefit and that really makes control that much better. I found a used one for $475 so did not have to shell out the $650+ for new, but considering how much I like this gun, that is a reasonable amount for new.

Anyone else want have any thoughts? The elite models have a polished ramp right anything else? Anyone have a XS big dot on one? With its size and it intended purpose as a point and shoot gun I think that particular sight system would do well with it.

http://kahrtalk.com may be a place that can help you with more questions, Great folks there.
Mines been reliable but not perfect, 3 jams in 600 rounds.
But i think im suffering from limp wristing my guns as im having the same issue with all three and two are 1911's.
Ive been too focused on my trigger pulling and not locking my wrists like i should.
