I ran across one of these today in excellent condition with less than 100 rounds through it. No box, papers or original grips. It has some nice S&W grips that are really comfortable, though. Price is $475 OTD.

That seems like a fair price to me, and I would snatch it up in a heartbeat, and put some proper grips on it. But then I really like Kit Guns.

The grips actually feel really nice in the hand and are pretty nice looking. I believe it to be a round butt, so, the original grips probably wouldn't feel quite as nice as these do.

I understand that, I recently founds a pre-model 34 I frame Kit Gun with Herrett's grips and though they felt good they just looked all wrong. they also did not sit naturally in my hand forcing me to break my wrist to draw the front sight down. The standard S&W grips make the little gun point more naturally. But then that's my hand and not yours.

Have you bought that gun yet?? :)

A few year's back [2007 or 2008], I bought a pristine S&W model 34-1
2" barrel and factory nickel, square butt [ without box or doc's] for
$350 OTD. This purchase was made from an individual, who also had
a 4" Colt Trooper MK-III in .22LR; but I could not afford both weapons.
