Pro-hunting Article On CNN

Yup, you'll be seeing more of this barring some kind of government bail-outs for the old media giants. They're casting about frantically for new viewer/readership as the consumer market shifts away from them. The numbers at CNN are particularly dismal and reflect the decline of the old-gaurd newspapers as much as anything.

I wouldn't hold out too much hope that organizations like CNN are experiencing a change of heart but rather experimenting with the limits of their and their established viewer's long held beliefs and politics while doing what they can to increase (or at least slow the loss of) revenue.

Kinda like the jerk neighbor that unexpectedly bakes you a pie, you gotta wonder; have they done something you don't yet know about, are they about to do something that they are trying to distract you from and just exactly what is really in the pie?

But in this case - who cares? The important thing is that thousands of CNN readers are getting exposed to a pro-hunting article written by someone like them....

That's gotta be a good thing.

It is amazing how many of those supposedly educated and smarter than the rest of us vegans can only argue with emotion. I rarely find that they site any thing credible as one poster also noted. I am glad that not every American is a hunter, and I support a persons decision not to hunt. But I enjoy hunting with my family and my dogs. I enjoy a big ole hunk of beef just as much as a big ole hunk of elk or deer.

I read the article and enjoyed it. I shot a supportive e-mail to the lady and she responded in a very appreciative way.
