I have been looking at Wideners they list a mill sur WC-687 & i have the load data for this powder Accurate 8700 & loads as listed working up your loads . My question is will this powder do any kind of harm to my soon to be new Weatherby Vanguard in 300 WBYMag The WC-867 is new no pulled or reclaimed what do ya other fellas use or think of this powder let me know its only $39.00 for a 8lb keg . I want be using this powder for my hunting loads i use Ramshot Magnum i was thinking of the WC-687 at a cheaper way to get to shoot more

I have some WC872 & it is so slow you can't crunch enough in a 30-06 to get it to all burn but man does it shoot good with next to no recoil. It might be just the ticket with a 300 W Mag tho.

It will be safe.

WC 687 is a ball powder for use in the 7.62X39 round. I would think that it would be too fast for the MAG uses at all. WC 867 Is a powder used in the 50 BMG and is similar to the IMR 5010. So which one are you referring to??

Question

I was talking about the WC-867 & Wideners says that the WC-872 & WC-687 are the same & even both powders using the Accurate 8700 load data for either one
