Question about getting a CCP in GA or SC

I'm not taking the 1911 on base, nor do I plan on carrying. I'll look into the FL and Utah through the mail thing. I've owned guns in WA state for almost a year now and it's been headache free so far as I live off post and don't take them on post. I haven't had to deal with a PCS yet though.

It tradoc he absolutely can.

That's not been the case at the TRADOC installation in question, at least in the past 15+ years I've lived here (most of them on active duty).

If the individual resides off-post, rather than in the barracks, there are no additional restrictions on privately owned weapons.

On the other hand, it would be a very good idea to call the unit ahead of time to ensure you will be able to get off-post initially.
