How do you keep the safety on the Shockwave from chewing up the web of your hand your hand between your thumb and index finger? Do you always have to wear a glove? If so, what do you recommend?
So....what did you dislike the most?My Shockwave now looks like this. I guess that tells you how much I liked it.View attachment 964433
I’ve never been cut by my safety. I’ve also never shot mine from the hip. I did put a wrap on the grip. I practice with trap loads, but I’ve also shot 00 and #4 buck and slugs. I’m 75 today and I enjoy my shockwave 12 gauge.So....what did you dislike the most?

Yup.
I hear that. Turned 74 a couple of weeks ago.My hands hurt a lot now that I have got older, so, it was just a lot to handle for me. I really wanted to like it. To be fair, I have seen a guy shooting skeet with one, so, obviously there are people out there that get along fine with them.

Take that ridiculous grip off and put on a stock. Like it should be. Problem solved.

Well I guess I didn’t read the statement that literally and figured it meant get a different shotgun with a normal stock (presumably an 18”+ barrel)
