I'm curious about the durability of the take down mechanism on the Stoeger Cougar and Beretta semi-auto pistols. Here is a picture in which I have circled the part (in red) that I am talking about.
On the Stoeger Cougar I owned I was worried that it (the part in the red circle above) might be too flimsy. So, what has been your experience. Does it get loose after time? The Beretta m9 has been a military pistol for many years; so, maybe I am worrying for nothing - but...?
