question on selling to a cal individual

i have a rifle(lever action) for sale,interested party lives in california.is there a problem shipping to their ffl? i see in many adds no shipping to cal. any advice would be appreciated. thanks

The majority of those who put "No sales to California" have no idea how easy it is to ship there.

It took me (a dealer) about five minutes to register with the CFLC. For each shipment it takes less than two minutes to print the required document enclosed with the shipment. Some dealers refuse to take the time.

For a nonlicensee (you) it is as simple as verifying with the buyers dealer that the firearm is legal.

Also check with the receiving FFL that they are OK with getting a rifle from an individual. May need to ship from a local FFL or include a copy of your driver's license.
